EV Supervision Lite is Codetics' new answer to e-mobility supervision: an OCPP 1.6 server, a dashboard and QR code payment, so you can run your chargers without committing to a heavy OCPP/OCPI project on day one.
Free, under the Codetics Attribution License, hosted on your own infrastructure.

Why Lite
Four years of charging supervision, distilled into one lean product.
Kevin Vavelin spent four years on EV charging supervision: OCPP and OCPI, payments, day-to-day operations. EV Supervision Lite keeps what it actually takes to run a network, and nothing more.
Lite is lean on purpose. Getting started shouldn't require a heavy OCPP/OCPI investment: connect your chargers, follow the sessions, get paid. When your needs grow, Codetics takes it from there.
Features
Everything you need to run a charging network.
A Kotlin/Spring Boot server that owns the data, the permissions and the charging state, and a Next.js dashboard to operate it all.

Public charging
No account needed. Scan, pay, charge.
A passing driver needs no app and no sign-up. Payments land directly in your workspace's own Stripe account.

1
Publish a charge point
Link a charger, a connector and a tariff, publish the portal, then download the QR code to display on site.
2
The driver pays on their phone
They scan the QR code, pick a credit between €5 and €100 and pay with Stripe Checkout, no account required. The start is only requested once Stripe confirms the payment.
3
Live tracking, automatic refund
The amount is computed from the charger's meter readings, capped at the credit paid, and the balance is refunded. If charging doesn't start within five minutes, the refund is full.
Roles
Everyone sees what matters to them.
Four roles, enforced by the server in every workspace. An identifier from another workspace grants no access at all.

Every screen
From the desk to the charge point.
The same dashboard on desktop, tablet and phone: check a charger from the car park as easily as from your desk.

Lite, and beyond
Start with Lite. Grow with Codetics.
Lite covers what you need to run your chargers. For newer protocols, custom requirements or a growing network, Codetics designs and operates the next step with you.
Your first chargers under supervision, in three steps.
The server is a standard Java application, the dashboard a Next.js application. No hosting platform is imposed.
01
Get the code
Clone the GitHub repository and run it locally with Java 25 and Node.js 22; an in-memory H2 database is enough to try it out.
02
Deploy on your terms
Host the server and dashboard wherever you like, over HTTPS, with PostgreSQL or MongoDB in production.
03
Connect your chargers
Register each charger in the dashboard, then point it at your workspace's WebSocket address using OCPP 1.6 JSON.
